Parent Guide & Privacy — The JJ Brothers

The JJ Brothers was created by a parent, inspired by two brothers. Every design decision — game, videos, and this website — starts with: would we be happy letting our own kids play this?

🏁 Portal Racers (browser)

Play free at thejjbrothers.com/portal-racers. Short races (about 2–5 minutes). No account required for the browser MVP.

No weapons, no blood, no death. Bumps only cost time and score momentum.
No open chat, no voice chat in Portal Racers.
No lootboxes, gacha, or pay-to-win. Progress is skill + exploration.
Progress can be stored in the browser (local save). We don’t need a kid’s email to play.
Villain Dr. Glitch is silly/chaotic — not horror.

🎮 JJ World (Roblox)

No gambling mechanics. Chests show contents before opening where used. No loot boxes, spinning wheels, or chance-based purchases designed to pressure kids.

No pay-to-win

Nothing that affects progress or power is sold as a must-buy. Optional items are cosmetic-first. On Roblox, use their parental spending controls.

Bedtime-friendly

No punishing daily streaks or FOMO timers. Quests are short; stopping is never a loss.

No violence

Jonna and Jamie win through teamwork and clever ideas — not fighting.

JJ Brothers videos are intended as wholesome adventure stories. Episodes may include free in-game codes — never paid random rewards.

Portal Racers browser MVP: free to play.
Roblox purchases (if any later) go through Roblox/Robux parental controls.
We don’t put ad-pressure or “buy now or lose” dark patterns in kid flows.

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Website email signup (if present) is for parents/guardians. Portal Racers browser progress uses local storage on the device. Roblox play is under Roblox’s privacy policy; YouTube under Google’s Made for Kids rules where applied.

What we never do

Sell children’s data
Require a kid’s phone number or home address to play Portal Racers
Run open unmoderated chat inside Portal Racers
